By default, your GoPrep store uses a URL that includes GoPrep in the address. For example:
https://yourstore.goprep.com
If you already own a domain, you can connect it to your GoPrep store and use a custom URL such as:
https://order.yourmealprep.com
This allows customers to access your store using your own domain instead of a GoPrep URL.
Step 1: Open the Custom Domain window
Go to the Settings page, open the Menu tab, and click the Custom Domain button.
This will open the Custom Domain window.
Step 2: Enter your domain information
Enter the subdomain and root domain you want to use.
For example:
-
Subdomain:
order -
Root Domain:
yourmealprep.com
The system will automatically generate the DNS record that needs to be added to your domain provider.
In this example, it would display:
- Type: CNAME
- Name: order
- Value: sites.goprep.com
The exact values shown in the window are the ones you should use.
Step 3: Add the DNS record
Log in to your domain provider (GoDaddy, Cloudflare, Namecheap, Squarespace, etc.) and add the DNS record displayed in the Custom Domain window.
Make sure the record matches exactly what is shown.
Step 4: Verify the DNS record
Once the DNS record has been added, return to GoPrep and click the Verify DNS button.
DNS changes are not instant and may take a few minutes to propagate. If verification does not work immediately, wait a little longer and try again.
Step 5: Contact GoPrep
Once the DNS record has been successfully verified, let us know and we will complete the final setup on our side.
Don't hesitate to contact GoPrep's Customer Support Team for further assistance.
You can do so by submitting a request or sending an email to help@goprep.com.
