What is AI Insights and how does it work?

The AI Insights feature helps you better understand your store’s performance using AI-generated reports focused on your sales, customers, and menu. This feature is available on the AI Insights page.

In addition, AI tools are also available directly when creating or editing menu items, allowing you to generate or improve meal titles and descriptions.

 

AI Credits

AI features use credits. You will get free credits  monthly.

• Starter plans: 20 AI credits per month
• Pro plans: 50 AI credits per month

You can see your remaining credits at the top right corner of the AI Insights page. 

If you want additional credits before your next monthly refresh, click Buy More and select one of the available options.

 

AI Insights Reports

The AI Insights page currently includes 3 categories of reports:

• Sales Insights
• Customer Insights
• Menu Insights

Each category currently includes these report presets:

• Summary (5 credits)
• Comparison (5 credits)

Report Feedback System

At the bottom of AI-generated reports, you’ll see a feedback section asking whether the report was helpful.

If you select that the report was not helpful, you’ll be able to explain why.

This feedback helps us improve report quality, refine AI-generated insights, and add new reports and features based on your needs.

Report History

On the right side of the AI Insights page, you’ll find the History section.

This section stores your previously generated reports so you can review them again later without spending additional credits. This is useful if you want to revisit a recent report, compare information, or avoid generating the same report multiple times within a short period.

Simply click the View button next to a previous report to open it again.

AI Meal Title & Description Assistant

AI tools are also available directly on the Menu page when creating or editing items.

You’ll notice a wand icon next to:

• Item Title
• Item Description

The AI can:

• Improve or regenerate an existing title
• Generate a description if one does not exist
• Improve or regenerate an existing description

Each AI generation costs 1 credit.
