Can I customize Item Labels in GoPrep?

Yes! You can customize your labels from the Reports page > Item Labels > Settings.

Label type and size

GoPrep supports two types of labels: Dymo and Avery. 

Supported label sizes

Dymo labels

• 4 x 2.33 (101.6 mm x 59.18 mm)

• 4 x 2 5/16 (101.6 mm x 58.7375 mm)

• 4 x 2 1/18 (101.6 mm x 52.21 mm)

• 6 x 4 (152.4 mm x 101.6 mm)

Avery labels

• 18163 – 2" x 4" (10 labels per sheet)

• 3425 – 2.24" x 4.13" (10 labels per sheet)

• 94237 – 2" x 3" (8 labels per sheet)

• 94215 – 3-1/3" x 4" (6 labels per sheet)

Selecting what to show on your labels

From the settings, you can choose which elements to display, such as your logo, meal titles, nutrition info, macros, or ingredients.

⚠️ We advise you not to select every checkbox on the left, as there isn’t enough space to fit everything on the label. Use the Preview button before printing to confirm the layout looks right.

Additional options

• Show Nutrition Facts Only: 
  Enable this to only show the nutrition facts for each meal.
   

• Add a QR code: 
  Enabling this will make the label show only the meal's name and other certain fields (if selected) such as your logo and the customer's name. The label will then show a QR code which once scanned will bring up that individual meal page on your menu showing all relevant details of that meal.
   

• Group labels by Item, Customer, or Production Groups
   

• Custom Label Builder: If you need more flexibility, you can enable the Custom Label Builder by turning on its toggle. This adds extra settings for each element, letting you adjust the format of your labels. Please check this article for more information.
