How does the Subscription Renewal Timing work?

This option can be found by navigating to the Settings page > Subscriptions tab.

There are two types: Renew At Cutoff & Renew Now.

Renew At Cutoff

Choose Renew At Cutoff for the renewal subscription date to be moved to the cutoff day for the delivery day the customer chooses. This is recommended in most cases, for most accounts. This option gives the customer all the way until your cutoff occurs.

Offset Hours

We strongly recommend adding a number of cushion hours before your cutoff for subscriptions to renew. This creates a buffer to address any last-minute issues, such as failed renewals due to credit card charges. It allows you time to resolve issues with your customers and attempt the renewal again before the cutoff. We recommend at least 12 to 24 hours of buffer time.

Renew Now

Choose Renew Now for your customer’s renewal lock on the day they created the subscription. This option renews and recreates the order immediately and on the same day each week the subscription was created, but there will be a gap between the renewal time and your cutoff time, in which your customer is able to update their subscription.
